My youngest daughter was four days old when I realised I had already forgotten the exact weight of her on my chest at birth. Four days. I was terrified of how much more I would lose.
I've been photographing families in my private Bacchus Marsh studio for over five years — specialising in newborn, maternity and family photography. Families travel to me from across Victoria: from Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Melton, Werribee and Sunbury. Every one of them arrives with something precious and time-sensitive, and I take that trust seriously.
I know the chaos and the tenderness of those early days — and I know how to create a space where you can forget about the camera entirely and just be together.
The baby who won't settle. The toddler who only wants crackers. I don't retouch that out — I photograph it. Real moments are what you'll treasure most in twenty years.
You just need to be loved. You just have to show up. I guide every pose, every look — so you feel comfortable and confident from the moment you walk through the studio door.
I keep my booking numbers low so every family — whether you've driven from Melbourne or Ballarat — gets my full, unhurried attention. No rushing. No strangers. No stress.
